How to delete your WioCare account and personal data — for patients, doctors, drivers, hospital staff, and pharmacy staff.

Delete Your Account & Data

You can request deletion of your WioCare account and the personal data associated with it at any time. The available path depends on your account type:

1. Delete from within the app (all account types)

Every account type — patient, doctor, ambulance driver, hospital and pharmacy — can delete its own account directly: open Settings (or Profile) in your dashboard, scroll to the Danger Zone, and choose Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm before anything is removed.

2. Request deletion by email (all account types)

Any account holder — including ambulance drivers, hospital/lab staff, and pharmacy staff, whose accounts are provisioned by WioCare or their facility — can request deletion by emailing us:

  • Send an email to support@wiocare.com from the email address linked to your account.
  • Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and mention your role (patient, doctor, driver, hospital staff, pharmacy staff).
  • We will verify your identity and confirm the deletion by reply.

What happens after you request deletion

Your account is deactivated immediately and your personal data is removed within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy. Some records are retained where the law requires it — for example payment/transaction records and medical records subject to healthcare record-keeping regulations. Retained records are kept only as long as legally required and are not used for any other purpose.
